Election of Officers Tuesday, May 3, 2016

New Officer Voting will be held at UMaine Blade Society practice at Lengyel Gym on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the beginning of practice (start time 7 pm). This short cycle announcement will allow the club to meet club reporting deadlines required by Student Government.

Please address any questions or concerns to Cynthia Putnam, vice president, Blade Society.

-To be able to vote you must be an active member, which is defined as a member of the university community who has attended at least half the practices in the last two weeks.
-In order to elect a new executive, there must be enough members present to constitute a practice (three members and an executive). A majority is needed to determine a vote.

What to Wear?

New Fencers: If you are a new fencer attending practice please wear non-marking sneakers or shoes you can move comfortably in for sports activities. You will want to wear clothing comfortable for athletic activities. Clothing that protect your legs are important. Sneakers, comfy jeans and a t-shirt are good choices for tonight’s practice.
